The Swedes had booked two rather different circuits called Ahvenisto and Alastaro.
We joined these days with a couple of Ferraris and Porsches.

The black E46 M3 driver ml is our Nürburging-Professional who has done countless trips to the world’s most dangerous track.

1.-4.5.2008 was held the sixth Tuning World exhibition at Bodensee Germany. Bodensee or Lake Constance in English, is a beautifully lake located across the Austrian and Swiss borders surrounded by the white peaks of the Alps. Since the exhibition was located in central europe, there were of course all the big tuner’s present. Exhibition was divided into 10 halls and outdoor drifting area, so there was lot’s of ground to cover.
We visited the show on the 1st May and here is what caught our eye during the visit.
April 18th, 2008 - Track
The track season of 2008 has finally started!
Our first track event was held in Alastaro Circuit, a great track for the season opening.
The beginning is always thrilling. Now it was even more so, because many of the carfreaks had new rides. The expressions and comments after some laps were very cheerful. Congratulations guys, leave a reply to tell something =)

Last Saturday I had an opportunity to join our good friends at MotorStars Oy Ltd at their first test of the all new Honda Challenge 2008 car at the Alastaro racetrack here in Finland. I had been following their progress of building the car for some time now at my visits to their shop and the quality and parts they have put into the new car is simply amazing. The world of Today is becoming harsh for the friends of true Sports cars; Governments are tackling with CO2-emission issues related to Global warming and seem to choose an easy refuge when deciding on the taxation of Automobiles. In order to guide consumer behaviour as well as the car industry towards a more clean future, the trend is to tax vehicles on their CO2 payload and CO2 only. Whoever forgot the other emissions such as nitrogen oxides accumulating to acidization of the environment, or additions to the amounts of harmful small particles, for example? Neither are the current emission based taxation changes exactly anywhere near fair towards the breed of sports cars, if you do the comparison between the actual pollutives on a vehicle vs. vehicle -basis. Most will agree that these are important issues; they just need to be done right.

To start, I want to apologize for my laziness. I’ve just simply been enjoying the car and have not been that interest in writing about it. Sorry about that. So now the first track season is end. A few new mods have also been installed, and I’ve started to learn the car.
