With the second trip of the year done, many of us are left with mixed feelings. We had once again an all together amazing trip, with plenty of track time mixed with just the right amount of R&R. On the other hand, the long, cold and dark winter season is approaching, and it will be many - way too many - months until we can be back again.
Our passion for the ultimate driving experience just keeps on growing.
The second trip of the year will start on the 30th of August with a ferry from Helsinki to Travemünde, Germany. Fastforward 24 hours, add a few hundred kilometers of Autobahn driving to Adenau and voila - the next day we’ll be ready to enjoy the track once again.
While spring had barely started here in Finland, a group of freaks decided to take a head start to the summer. A group of 10 cars headed to the Finnlines ferry terminal in Helsinki, with a very clear goal in their minds - the Green Hell itself. This would be my third time there, or the second “proper” one - but who’s counting anyway
Plenty of events colored the trip, and as there would be too much to write about it all, I have to focus on my own view. Undoubtedly others will let you know of their own experiences.
It was simply sensational!
This spring’s Ring trip is done and we already miss the place!
