RingRunners of Sweden in Finland!
Some time ago I heard that another Scandinavian group known from the Nürburging, the Swedish RingRunners was planning a trip to visit some Finnish tracks. I immediately thought that we should join if possible!
The cars of RingRunners are amazing. Many times the best cars at the Nürburging parking lot have their sticker on them. But it’s not only the vehicles that makes the RingRunners a fine group.
When we (Kai in 911 Turbo, Teemu with Boxster, Sami and M Coupé, Matti in M3 and another Matti with his shiny new GT3RS) came to their first track day of the trip, we were warmly welcomed and the atmosphere was friendly yet professional.
Their idea of track driving is same as ours, go fast, but always safety first.
The weather was sunny and new people learned the track quite well. It’s easy to see these guys have driven fast before.
Lap times became lower and lower and because the cars were so spectacular, we were having a great time. Also a lunch was provided at the track and yet again it was a nice surprise.
Thanks for the RingRunners of Sweden – the event was a success!

A keen carfreak who appreciates every aspect of sports cars - whether are they about handling, power or looks. As a motorsport-fan Kai tries to spend a lot of his free time at racing tracks enjoying the athmosphere and improving his skills.

Excellent track day, everything went as should and there were no accidents.. Weather was great, cars worked properly and people drove wery well!
